Cairnduff, Robert - Of Linden, age 77, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his residence. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 North Cherry Street, Flushing. Bob will lie in state at church Saturday after 10 a.m. Reverend Father Roy Horning will preside and internment will follow in Flushing Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to The New Flint Powers High School or the American Cancer Society . Visiting hours are Friday from 1-8 p.m., with a Vigil Prayer Service 7 p.m. Friday evening at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Bob was born in Flint on August 17, 1934, son of the late James and Helen (McNab) Cairnduff and was a resident of Flint, Flushing and Linden. He married Penny on February 9, 1999. Bob worked in Flint all his life. He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church and St. Andrews Society. Surviving are wife, Penny; children, Cindy (Tom) Wagonschutz, Tammy (Anthony) Hresko-Veatch, David (Lori), Dena (Melvin) Moon; step-son, Travis (Sylvia) Yost; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Eckenrod. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charmaine, brother, Jack, son-in-law, Mark Hresko, and step-son, Anthony Yost.
